The plastic-bodied Medi-Snap push-pull locking circular connector has been developed specially for the medical equipment market.

ODU's plastic-bodied Medi-Snap push-pull locking circular connector has been developed specially for the medical equipment market and is mounting and mating compatible with other manufacturers' products An important feature of the Medi-Snap is that it is easy to use, particularly in blind mounting situations that can be encountered with medical equipment in use in emergency situations

Another advantage for medical applications is that the Medi-Snap can be sterilised or autoclaved, and it is also available with six colour codes for easy identification when used in multi-plug situations.

Other features include good chemical resistance, low mating forces, high mating cycle capability and low weight.

The component is also non-magnetic and can be specified in two to 14 ways, and crimp and solder or PCB termination can be provided.
