Romanian plant focuses on
connector/cable assembly
ODU's new Romanian manufacturing operation will play a key role in the company's expansion of connector/cable assembly.
International connector specialist ODU has formed ODU ROM Manufacturing with headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Sibiu/Hermannstadt, Romania Employing over 100 people, one of the main activities of this new subsidiary is cable assembly for ODU product globally
ODU has produced cable assemblies for many years and the new facility in Romania will play a key role in the company's expansion of connector/cable assembly using its standard and custom connector designs.
The company currently employs over 500 people at its Muhldorf, Germany headquarters, where there is now a new specialist group dedicated to cable assembly, and also has subsidiaries in the UK and other parts of Europe as well as the Far East.
