Socket speeds automotive upgrades
Compact springwire "flat socket" connector can be plugged on 0.64mm square pins, which are frequently found in automotive electronics.
ODU has developed a compact springwire "flat socket" connector that can be plugged on 0.64mm square pins, which are frequently found in automotive electronics In particular this will be used during quality assurance, test and measurement, maintenance procedures and identity software downloads
The connector, which has multiple contact spring wires to provide high integrity with low connection forces over thousands of mating cycles, also provides high contact reliability while carrying high current loads.
It is available with crimp or quick-change terminations and can be mounted in many standard automotive insulation bodies.
Although the automotive industry is a major area of use for the connector it will be equally suitable for many other applications where temporary connections need to be made to square pins, particularly in test and QA procedures.
