Low value resistors suit current sense
uses
The new 610 and 650 Series four terminal bare element resistors from Ohmite provide ultralow resistance values (to 0.005ohm) for relatively high current requirements.
The new 610 and 650 Series four terminal bare element resistors from Ohmite provide ultralow resistance values (to 0.005ohm) for relatively high current requirements Combining the advantages of a radial Kelvin configuration and PCB mounting capability, the 610 and 650 series are ideally suited to current sense applications
The 610 Series has a power rating of 1W and the 650 Series can handle 5W.
Both components feature a 1% tolerance standard, low inductance below 0.25ohm, tinned copper leads, and RoHS compliance.
These sturdy resistors offer an overload capability of five times their rated wattage for 5s, a high power-to-size ratio, an operating temperature of -55 to +275C, and exceed the requirements of MIL-PRF-49465.
