SipAs on WebLogic is the world's first SIP application server operating on an enterprise-class J2EE server.
It combines Oki Electric's IP communications technology with BEA WebLogic Server 8.1.
It is designed to enable users to build SIP-compatible communicating applications in the J2EE realm as a platform that can deliver service oriented architecture (SOA) in broadband/ubiquitous environments.
Leveraging the properties of BEA WebLogic, with its proven track record as an enterprise-class J2EE server, SipAs on WebLogic will be the first Japanese product that supports the BEA WebLogic Workshop Control Validation Programme.
