"We will continue to implement sound corporate activities based on our Charter of Corporate Conduct and to work to improve corporate value".
The Oki Group Charter of Corporate Conduct was established on 1st October 2005 as the basis for the group to achieve CSR.
Gaining trust from stakeholders - including customers, shareholders and investors, employees, suppliers and the local communities - is the basis to improve corporate value.
Built on this understanding, Oki put together ten items outlining its fundamental philosophy toward social responsibility, which is rooted in its corporate mission.
The report is presented in accordance with these 10 items to enable better understanding of Oki Group's CSR activities.
The ten items from the Charter of Corporate Conduct are: customer satisfaction; fair corporate activities; good communication; intellectual property and information management; respect for human rights; a better working environment; respect for employees; environmental conservation; social contribution; and regional awareness.
In "Special features: meeting our CSR commitment", covered in the report, Oki introduces its new ATM with universal design and security functions, and describes its establishment of a special subsidiary, for the employment of teleworkers with severe physically challenges.
