Smart Case can now be worn on a belt

A case for better communications
When Nextel, based in Le Rouret, France, was looking at ways to improve communication systems for motorcyclists, OKW Enclosures was on hand to provide the appropriate housing.
This makes them still more convenient to carry.
The clip, which is simply screwed to the case once it has been drilled, has been designed to be used with Smart Case sizes L and M.
Size L is the largest in the range at 140mm x 62mm x 32mm (L x W x H) and is ideally suited to be belt-carried.
None the less, with its characteristic ergonomic design, this model is ideal for hand-held applications too.
Smart Case size M is the next size down at 96mm x 48mm x 24mm (L x W x H) and is also ideal for both hand-held and belt-carried applications.
Drilling the mounting holes for the belt clip can be quickly carried out by the user or - alternatively - by OKW.
The smallest size, the Smart Case XS, is too small to be suitable for belt-attachment.
Smart Cases also feature externally accessible battery compartments and a recessed top panel for easy mounting of membrane keyboards.
All sizes are made of impact resistant polystyrene (UL 94 HB) in off-white RAL 9002 or black RAL 9005.
A special plexiglass version is also available for infra-red applications.
Smart Case's special shape makes it extremely comfortable and ideally suited to the natural shape and function of the hand.
This is a great asset where the case is to be used as a remote control device with cable connection or batteries.
Smart Case XS can also be used as a key-fob on a bunch of keys.
Rubber keyboards, membrane keypads, press buttons and cable grommets can all be easily mounted.
The new belt-clip adds still more flexibility to this already versatile product range.
