Handheld enclosures mate with desk stations
OKW has introduced four new versions of its popular Datec-Control handheld enclosure.
These elegant handheld enclosures have a stylish and ergonomic exterior design which incorporates a circular head section for the displays.
The grip area is comfortably narrow on all sizes, for the user to operate the unit for long periods.
The Datec-Control system is available in four standard sizes from 200 x 58 x 40 to 266 x 90 x 60mm.
The cases are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL94HB) and are available with or without a large display window for mounting standard LCDs, including graphics modules.
Datec-Control enclosures are ideal for outdoor use and a sealing kit is available for protection up to IP65.
All models offer battery compartments as an option, and will accept up to two 9V PP3 cells or five 1.5V AA cells.
The two larger size units have plug-in battery packs for units that frequently need recharging.
The unique wall and desk stations can be used for downloading data and charging.
Volume prices start at GBP 7.
OKW offers a full customising service on these cases with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, EMC shielding and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting the components.
