OKW has extended its advanced Ergo-Case range with new display versions.

Following customer demand, OKW has extended its advanced Ergo-Case range with new display versions These new models have removable display panels which have been designed for easier mounting of LCD modules

The display panels are moulded in either solid case coloured ABS or in transparent polycarbonate (UL94HB).

The Ergo-Cases have a special contoured design which enhances the tactile and visual quality of the electronics.

Typical applications will include mobile electronics such as medical devices, stock control units, and test and measurement instruments.

The Cases are available in both flat and high versions with external dimensions of 150 x 200 x 54 and 150 x 200 x 69mm.

For mobile applications, Ergo-Cases can be comfortably worn on a belt, using the optional eyelet kit and belt strap accessories.

The construction consist of a top and base moulding in off-white or black ABS (UL94HB), which clip together and are secured by two self-tapping screws.

The base part includes an access plate and aperture, into which can be fitted three types of battery cradle for four 1.5V AA cells, or one or two 9V cells.

The Ergo-Cases can be sealed to IP54 for outdoor use, and the display panel is recessed to also allow mounting of a membrane keypads.

The front end is ideal for fitting cable connectors for probes or sensors.

Internal screw pillars provide mounting for PCBs.

Volume prices start from GBP 15.

OKW also offers a full customising service on these enclosures with milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for the electronic components.
