These innovative enclosures have been ergonomically designed with a round edge section, which is very easy to hold, and also acts as a battery compartment or entry port for cables glands.
The construction consists of a box-section or two piece anodised aluminium case body, with internal guides for PCBs.
Two tough black plastic (TPE) end caps are fitted to the ends of the extrusions by self-tapping screws.
For outdoor use, the cases can be sealed up to IP 65.
The MobilCases are offered in an extensive range of 12 sizes with external dimensions from 118 x 120 x 80 to 168 x 240 x 130mm.
The recessed top section has been designed for mounting membrane keypads and product labels, and can also be machined with apertures for LCD modules, pushbutton switches, ribbon cables etc.
Optional extras include a hinged adapter for connecting two cases together, one case acting as the keyboard the other acting as the display section.
A shoulder strap with rubber end protectors is also offered for use on field instruments.
Rolec offers a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, assembly of cable glands and terminals and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting the components.
