OKW has extended its Diatec enclosure range with two new models with hinged transparent lids The new models are particularly suitable for wall or machine mounted applications where the controls and displays need to be clearly seen, but also protected from accidental operation or contamination, for example with machine controllers, door entry systems, time loggers, detections systems, communications devices, and wellness and medical equipment

Enclosures on the tabletop

Diatec cases have a modern contoured design with a central control panel for mounting a membrane keypad, display module or pushbutton switches.
The new transparent hinged lids protect this area.
The Diatec range has external dimensions of 210 x 200 x 48mm (size S) and 270 x 200 x 48mm (size M).
The central control panel is recessed by 2.5mm and has dimensions of 120 x 128 and 180 x 128mm for M and S, respectively.
The cases are moulded in off-white ABS (UL94HB) and consist of four moulded parts: the top and base parts and two contoured side panels that are snapped into place.
The interior of the case can also be subdivided using accessory slot-in panels.
Screw pillars are also provided in the top and base for mounting PCBs.
The hinged lids are fixed to the top part.
Power cables can enter the case via the underside or base panel.
Alternatively, two 1.5V AA or a single 9V cell can accommodated in the base part.
