Pot and switch come together without compromise
The Omeg range of potentiometers includes a 16mm plastic bodied unit with a push-on/push-off (push-push) single-pole changeover 10A switch.
To meet this requirement, Omeg has designed and produced a locator tab washer.
This fits over the potentiometer mounting bush, engaging the flats, and has an offset tab with its end folded 90 degrees to fit into a small circular hole that is punched in the control panel to the side of the mounting hole.
The saving on tooling has far exceeded the nominal cost of the washer, much to the delight of the customer.
Although the locator tab washers have only been produced for one customer, Omeg is considering making these available as a standard item.
