Omron has extended its range of power supplies with the launch of the S8PE - a powerful, high efficiency, new line of 3-phase power supplies designed to cover the needs of industrial applications The three models in the series cover outputs of 10A, 20A and 40A, at an output voltage of 24V DC

Overload and over-voltage protection are standard features.

With their high efficiency (89% for the 40A model and 87% for the two smaller models) and compact design, these powerful industrial supplies offer impressive performance whilst taking up the minimum of valuable panel space.

Reduction of power loss is a key energy saving feature, making these supplies environmentally friendly, whilst the low heat radiation means you won't have to worry about extra panel cooling measures.

Installation of the power supplies is simplified through their wide input voltage range (3-phase, 320-480V AC), and by the easy, DIN-rail mounting of the 10A and 20A models.

The 40A variant is front mounting, and the 20A model can also be front mounted if required.

All three models in the series conform to the EN61000-3-2 and CE directives, so no external power factor correction filter is necessary, further economising on panel space.
