Omron has launched a new range of rectangular illuminated pushbutton switches with split-screen options offering very flexible, highly visual control switch options.

Omron has launched a new range of rectangular illuminated pushbutton switches with split-screen options offering very flexible, highly visual control switch options for process and motor control A3PJ series pushbutton switches measure 18.9 x 26.1mm and comprise a switch unit and indicator/pushbutton unit which are joined together with a reliable snap action

The indicator unit is available in solid colour as well as two, three and four split-screen options in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

In addition, the indicator units feature a variety of colours including white, red, green and orange and can be specified to 5, 12 or 24V DC.

Three types of indicator unit can be specified for use with the switch unit; LED-lit with built-in LED chip, LED-ball-lit with removable LED for trouble-free maintenance and repair and also incandescent-lamp-lit.

In each case, the display screen unit incorporates a lens, transparent legend plate, plunger, coloured plate and a source of illumination, with the split-screen type also supplied with appropriate light baffles.

Available in SPDT or DPDT forms, the A3PJ switches are supplied with black flange and spring mounted clip and can be specified with gold or silver contacts to match individual load requirements.
