Omron has added optional screwless clamp terminals to its A16 range of pushbutton switches, making build and servicing of all types of switch panels faster and more convenient New, larger size pushbutton options are also added to the A16 range in lighted and non-lighted versions

The new additions to the A16 range now measure 18 x 24mm, with 18mm square and 18mm-diameter circular options also available.

The switches require 16mm panel apertures, and are constructed with modular pushbutton, case, lamp and switch to deliver wide customer choice at competitive pricing.

Protection against moisture and other ingress is certified to IP40.

A high reliability, oil resistant, IP65 version of each switch is also available.

The switches are rated up to 220V AC/DC maximum, with mounting depth of 28.5mm enabling low profile panels for direct mains connection.

A16 pushbutton switches are available in SPDT and DPDT types.

The screwless clamps are available on DPDT switches only.

Standard PCB and solder terminal options are available for all types.

Switches in the A16 series are available with incandescent lamp, neon or LED lighting.

Available colours include red, yellow, true yellow, green, white and blue.

Non-lighted models are available in black.

The square and rectangular models are also available with a choice of two- or three-way guards, and self-resetting or self-holding operation may be specified.

The A16 series is UL, CSA and CE approved.
