Omron has extended its distribution network with the appointment of TTI as a regional distributor for France, following on from a similar agreement between Omron and TTI in the USA.

Omron Components Business - Europe has extended its distribution network with the appointment of TTI as a regional distributor for France, following on from a similar agreement between Omron and TTI in the USA The franchise represents a first move into electromechanical components for TTI, which is well known in France for passive components and connectors

Commenting on the decision to add TTI to its network, Omron Sales Division Manager - France, Francois Dyckmans, said: "TTI is a strategic partner for Omron in France.

We believe TTI will offer Omron greater market presence, and will complement to our existing distribution partnerships in France.

TTI has an outstanding team in France, and has built an excellent reputation for customer service and based especially on design support".

Bernard Chevalier, General Manager of TTI, added: "Omron is a market leader in Europe for electromechanical components, and is a natural choice for our first venture into switches and relays in this market.

Omron has a technology lead with many of its devices, and our approach, based on working closely with engineers in the design phase, will, we think, work extremely well in developing new opportunities for them".
