"TTI has a strong supplier strategy and, as a global organisation, we recognise the importance of partnering with a well-known blue chip brand such as Omron", said Glyn Dennehy, European Marketing Director, TTI Europe.
"Our initial activities with Omron have been focused on France where both companies have generated sales amounting to almost 100% fresh new business".
"Our intention is to continue with this type of value-add across all European countries".
Historically, TTI's growth has been fuelled through advances in the passive component industry.
Extending the franchise with Omron Components Business Europe will enable the distributor to increase market share in the relay market and diversify its current portfolio to include a new range components including switches, sensors and connectors, as well as potentially fibre-optic switches.
"Through this latest agreement we have the opportunity to supply our electromechanical portfolio to a large and new customer base for Omron in Europe", commented Nigel Blakeway, COO, Omron Components Business Europe.

TTI's key differentiator is its ability to capitalise on a gap in the market for a high quality organisation focused on providing specialist products with a differentiated level of service and proven logistics capabilities across Europe.
The company plans to set up an advanced inventory reservation logistics programme which will give customers the opportunity to purchase Omron parts while enhancing TTI's inventory at the same time.
As a result of recent growth, the company has moved its central operations to Maisach-Gernlinden, near Munich, Germany.
TTI customers will benefit from dedicated, custom-built warehouse and distribution facilities providing guaranteed quick response and on-time service deliveries.
The Europe Distribution Centre occupies 15,300m2, with 3700m2 designated for product, finance, IS, operations and other departments.
