Designated the G5RL-LN, Omron's new "silent" relay conforms to an industry standard footprint of G2R/G2RL.
Offered in a SPST-NO form, the relay is just 15.7mm high, and can switch up to 12A at 250V.
A high capacity version can handle up to 16A.
Coil power consumption is 530mW, and coil voltage can be 5, 12 or 24V DC.
Omron also recently introduced the G5RL-HR - a relay specifically designed for loads such as fluorescent tubes or incandescent lamps characterised by high inrush currents.
Packaged in the standard G5RL case, this device can handle currents of up to 100A.
Omron G5RL relays are fully RoHS compliant with gold alloy contacts for longer life expectancy and high contact reliability.
They conform to applicable EN, UL and CSA standards.
