Omron Electronic has released the WXA-N2SL, a surface-mounted polymeric antenna These antenna is designed to transmit and receive high-speed wireless signals for the consumer electronic products market
These antennas were designed for optimum operation in the WiMedia AllianceT UWB Bandgroup 1 (3.1-4.9GHz) frequency band.
The antenna's filter-assist function gives it the ability to suppress out-of-band noise by 50% or more, enabling high-quality communications between these wireless devices even in noisy signal applications.
Omron's di-electric polymer moulding allows for both high-performance and a compact 10 x 13 x 1.2mm size.
The WXA-N2SL's polarisation is linear with a feed impedance of 50ohm.
Applications include certified wireless USB dongles, hubs, personal computers, mobile equipment and digital home appliances.
