High efficiency for compact power supplies
Omron has extended its range of power supplies with the launch of the S8PE - a powerful, high efficiency, new line of 3-phase power supplies designed for industrial applications.
The G5T has a unique footprint and has a switching capability of 5A at 250V AC or 30V DC delivering a minimum of 30,000 operations at rated load.
They are very energy efficient consuming approximately 200mW of nominal power.
They have a 10kV impulse withstand voltage between coil and contacts.
Standard coil versions include 5, 12, and 24V DC.
The G5T has a comparative tracking index (CTI) of 250V and is UL, CSA, and VDE approved as well as being RoHS compliant.
Other characteristics include an ambient operating temperature range of -40 to +70C (without icing or condensation) in a relative humidity of 5 to 85%.
Maximum contact resistance is 100mohm with minimum insulation resistance of 1Gohm (at 500V DC) and dielectric strength of 4kV AC, 50/60Hz for 1min between coil and contacts and 750V AC 50/60Hz for 1min between contacts of the same polarity.
Target applications include water heaters, ventilation and zone control, air conditioners, refrigeration and PLC output controls.
