ON Semiconductor has been recognised as a Laureate by the Computerworld honours programme.
For almost two decades, Computerworld honours have acknowledged individuals and organisations whose use of information technology has been especially noteworthy for the originality of its conception, the breadth of its vision and the significance of its benefit to society.
ON Semiconductor was nominated by i2Technologies for its use of innovative supply chain management solutions.
Through its work with i2, ON Semiconductor has become more efficient in inventory optimisation, scenario management and performance management.
"Being recognised as a Laureate by Computerworld honours programme is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of the teams from both ON Semiconductor and i2", said John Mallon, Director, Supply Chain Solutions, ON Semiconductor.
"Implementing i2's supply chain solutions has alleviated limitations to our sales and operations process".
"This has paved the way for more accurate forecasting and a better aligned revenue plan that still allows us to transform inherent business risk into competitive advantage".
