Ophir RF has redesigned its family of high-power linear microwave amplifiers, covering 0.8-4.2GHz.

Ophir RF has redesigned its family of high-power linear microwave amplifiers, covering 0.8-4.2GHz.

Ophir RF actively pursues ways to provide better value for customers, and the results of this family redesign are that the customer now has more output power and/or a lower price in all cases.

One example is the Model 5162, a 30W amplifier, which is now delivers 20% higher power, but is only two-thirds the size and priced under $15,000 (a 12% reduction).

Ophir RF's 0.8-4.2GHz family of linear amplifiers is ideally suited for applications such as RF device testing, covering all the major bands, including cellular, GSM, PCS, WLL and IMT-2000.

In addition, these amplifiers are well suited for laboratory test and measurement purposes.

The higher-power models are also well suited for RF immunity testing.

Datasheets of all models are on the Ophir RF website.
