The Model 5303075 is a 0.8-4.2GHz 1.5W power amplifier module available now from Ophir RF.

This multi-octave highly linear amplifier module is ideally suited to boosting the output power from signal/waveform generators by more than 10dB.

Most laboratory generators are limited to a maximum output power of +20dBm (100mW).

When this is insufficient, for instance when testing RF components and subsystems, the Model 5303075 will increase the maximum power to 1.5W.

Faithfully amplifying the major modulation schemes, (average powers of +28dBm for GSM modulation, +25dBm for CDMA (IS95) modulation, and +22dBm for WCDMA modulation) model 5303075 covers all the major communications bands, along with Bluetooth, 802.11b, and the UHF radar bands.

It can withstand +20dBm of input power indefinitely without damage.

Likewise, the output can tolerate reflected power at 100% rated output power without damage.

Needing only a single 12V DC power supply, this compact lightweight module comes with fixing holes for fastening to a cold plate, or it can be provided ready mounted on a heatsink complete with cooling fans.
