Opal Kelly has expanded its family of USB-connected FPGA modules with the XEM3010, billed as a diminutive powerhouse At only 50 x 75mm in size, the XEM3010 provides high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity to a 1- or 1.5-million gate Spartan-3 FPGA coupled to a multiple-PLL clock generator, 32Mbyte of SDRAM, switching power supply, optional PROM and 120 expansion pins

All Opal Kelly FPGA modules include the company's FrontPanel API available in C++, Python, Java, and even a Windows DLL, making PC/FPGA communications surprisingly simple.
