Orlin Technology has begun shipping its inexpensive Prongle 2 programmer for Cypress Microsystems PSoC microcontrollers.
Orlin Technology has begun shipping its inexpensive Prongle 2 programmer for Cypress Microsystems PSoC microcontrollers Now it is possible to design with these innovative microcontrollers by simply downloading the free PSoC Designer development environment from the Cypress Microsystems website, designing your own analogue/digital PSoC and then programming it either in-socket on in-system using the Prongle 2
Notable features include: compatibility with all members of the PSoC microcontroller family; the ability to program 8-, 20-, 28- and 48-pin DIP parts in socket; in-system programming of all device types via five-wire cable (supplied); direct drive from PSoC Designer software (ie no 3rd-party software required); CY8C26443-24PI microcontroller device included; powered by 9V battery or external power supply; and direct connection to any PC parallel port.
