Embedded seminar goes wireless
The Embedded Materclass free seminar series for embedded engineers will focus on wireless development at its next event.
The Embedded Materclass free seminar series for embedded engineers will focus on wireless development at its next event.
The morning session will concentrate mainly on wireless device development and the afternoon session, mainly wireless infrastructure development.
Following on from the success of the two previous Embedded Masterclass events, OSE and other industry partners will be running the next Embedded Masterclass on 23rd September 2003, and the emphasis will be on the technology behind wireless systems.
Once again, the presentations will be purely technical and very much targeted at an engineering audience.
They will discuss a range of topics from "Developing data resilience" in basestation equipment to "Developing arcade quality games" for mobile phones.
The presentations will cover hardware and software issues and there will be several demonstration of new innovative embedded technology.
"The whole philosophy behind the Embedded Masterclass is to deliver powerful information about leading edge products and the tools that are available to embedded engineers, without the sales pitch of a normal vendor presentation.
Feedback from the last event tells us that engineers have very much appreciated this approach and have found the event a really good investment of their time", said Richard Blackburn, organiser of the event.
Presentations at this event will be given by engineers from ARM, OSE, 3Glab, Synergenix, I System, Bittware, Motorola, Polyhedra and TI.
The event will be held at the conference facility at Reading's Madejski Stadium.
"Although each Embedded Masterclass is focused on a certain area of embedded development, I feel confident that any embedded engineer wanting to keep abreast of this technology will find this event helpful.
In addition to the presentations, it is a great opportunity to meet and chat with experts from a range of companies in the embedded industry", said Blackburn.
