Seal of approval for optical mux/demux
The OpsiTech AWG multiplexer/demultiplexer family has successfully passed Telcordia GR-1221 qualification and has been approved for use by a major network system manufacturer.
They feature 20dB of attenuation, high stability, low insertion loss, low polarisation dependent loss and small footprint.
Available for both C- and L- bands, the EVOA arrays are applied in a variety of modules, such as multiplexers/de-multiplexers, optical add/drop modules and erbium-doped fibre amplifiers.
"OpsiTech's high-port EVOA array insures the dynamic rebalancing of each individual optical channel, corrects ageing effects of other components and avoids distortions due to saturation", said Jerome Prieur VP Sales and Business Development of OpsiTech.
"It provides accurate, fast and stable control of each optical channel required for optimal performance of DWDM networks".
