OpsiTech is demonstrating its entire component portfolio for long haul, metro and access applications this week at OFC 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia Integrated optical components include: 50 and 100GHz standard, colourless and polarisation maintaining high-performance multiplexer/demultiplexers; 8-, 10- and 12-port electrically tunable variable optical attenuator E-VOA arrays with low PDL and high stability; and 1 x 4, 1 x 8 and 1 x 16 planar waveguide splitters
Based on planar lightwave circuits, OpsiTech's integrated optical components are specifically designed to increase capacity and reduce ownership cost of optical networks.
