Otehall Switches has launched the C700 range of single-axis potentiometer joystick controllers.

Otehall Switches has launched the C700 range of single-axis potentiometer joystick controllers.

An addition to the already popular 700 Series, the C700 range offers a wide selection of potentiometric, microswitch and switched knob functions which can be combined in a variety of forms to suit all customer requirements.

The C700 range has a simple 'sandwich' style modular construction that provides an extremely flexible unit.

Combinations of 10, 20 and 30-degree (nominal) points of the units' travel are available, with full travel being 30 degrees either side of centre.

A standard 0.375in threaded rotary potentiometer can be mounted within the joystick pivot bearing, protecting it from direct loading, and thereby extending performance and operational life.

The C700 units are suitable for mounting into panels up to 3mm thick and are supplied with a flexible PVC gaiter and bezel as standard providing sealing around the knob and spindle to IP65.

An optional switch knob can also be specified.

Typical applications for the C700 range of joysticks include industrial material handling vehicles such as cranes and forklifts, marine applications, invalid equipment, remote controls and security camera controls.
