Now available from Pacer Components is the Optek Technology family of high-speed 850nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs).
Now available from Pacer Components is the Optek Technology family of high-speed 850nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) The high optical efficiency of these devices enables them to emit higher coupled power at lower drive currents than either LEDs or edge-emitting lasers
Operating at speeds of up to 1.25Gbit/s these VCSELs are offered in a variety of packages including TO-46 and ST style housings.
The combination of high speed, high output power and concentric beam makes them ideal transmitters for use in all types of datacommunications equipment.
All devices are burned in for communication level reliability and are recommended for use with multimode fibre.
Devices offer power outputs of up to 4.5mW.
