One-piece digital colour camera is capable of acquiring accurate, high-resolution colour images using the Foveon X3 TM Pro 14M CMOS colour image sensor.

Available from Pacer, the HVDUO-14M is a one-piece digital colour camera capable of acquiring accurate, high-resolution colour images using the Foveon X3 TM Pro 14M CMOS colour image sensor.

The sensor incorporates the exclusive Foveon X3 colour separation technology - unlike colour filter mosaic sensors, the Foveon X3 Pro 14M image sensor detects full colour at every pixel location.

HVDUO-14M's 14.45 million photodetectors are arranged in a 2688 x 1792 x 3 matrix.

The camera features 24/30bit digital colour output, real-time colour processing, a parallel LVDS interface and support for all sensor scan modes, capable of single-shot or continuous acquisition.

The HVDUO-14M is compatible with a wide range of standard optics and includes an automatic internal dark-frame shutter and controls for synchronised illuminators.

The HVDUO-14M suits industrial, scientific, medical, cinema and communications applications requiring high-quality colour images.
