Multichip diodes produce more lumens
Aculed VHL diodes are available in a range of single colours and in an RGBY (red-green-blue-yellow) version with a higher colour rendering index.
Pacer is now supplying samples of PerkinElmer's new Aculed VHL (very high lumen) ultra-high-power LEDs Aculed VHL devices offer outstanding brightness with a luminous flux of up to 325 lumen, improved luminous efficacy and all the benefits of the newly enhanced Aculed platform including its compact, easy-to-assemble design and long lifetime

LEDs offer easy assembly
Samples are now available of PerkinElmer's new ACULED VHL TM (very high lumen) ultra high power LEDs.
Aculed VHL is offered via Pacer International in monochrome (UV, blue, green, yellow, red, IR), and also in a RGBY (red-green-blue-yellow) version with a higher colour rendering index than the basic RGGB combination.
These new devices offer a step change improvement in thermal management.
The thermal resistance of the Aculed VHL package can be as low as 4.5K/W, depending on the chip configuration.
Aculed solutions are based on PerkinElmer Elcos' superior multiple-chip-on-board (COB) technology.
In addition, each chip features a separate anode and cathode, enabling the chips to be driven individually, thus increasing flexibility around electrical layout.
For higher volume applications, there is even a design-your-own version of Aculed, giving customers total flexibility to design their own four-chip LED configuration to suit their specific lighting application needs. Request a free brochure from Pacer International ...
