Two Matsushita PCB companies to merge

Panasonic Electronic Devices Co and Matsushita Electric Works have agreed to integrate the printed circuit board businesses of the two companies.

Panasonic Electronic Devices Co and Matsushita Electric Works have agreed to integrate the printed circuit board businesses of the two companies.

The integration has been discussed between Panasonic Electronic Devices and MEW as a part of two-year long collaboration between the companies aimed at expanding the PCB business.

As a result, the printed circuit board business of Yamanishi MEW will be integrated into Panasonic Electronic Devices.

The integration will help amalgamate technologies developed by each company,and help to build an organisation catering to the needs of global customers, thus further expanding the printed circuit board business in the high-growth mobile and car electronics market.
