Panasonic Electronic Devices and Matsushita Electric Industrial have developed what they believe to be the thinnest dynamic micro-speaker in the world, which will help to reduce the size and improve audio quality in devices such as mobile phones, mobile audio players.

This newly developed speaker has been achieved by adopting a novel magnetic circuit structure completely different from the basic structure of the traditional dynamic speaker.

Acoustic performance is maintained despite the small size.

This new speaker will allow more compact designs as well as high-quality sound.

This has been difficult, resulting in advanced functions as well as high sound-quality of a variety of devices, and also contributing to improving design flexibility of them.
