Small and thin thermal links are developed in response to industry trends for compact high-capacity batteries for use in mobile devices.
Panasonic Electronic Devices has developed a new range of small and thin thermal links suitable for protecting Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries With a width of just 2.7mm and at only 0.64mm thick, the EYP2MP series is claimed to be the smallest in the industry
The new devices have been developed in response to industry trends for compact high-capacity batteries for use in mobile devices.
They feature low resistance - ranging from 6.5 to 8mohm - which contributes to low power consumption in mobile applications.
