Switch probes cut maintenance in automotive tests
The P201/GI Series from Peak Test Services is a range of switch probes designed for use in test modules for checking wiring harnesses in the automotive industry.
A simple solder-tag clip is fitted onto the receptacle for the wire to be attached, which avoids wiring directly to the probe.
The new design should greatly speed maintenance of equipment using pneumatic probes as it allows rapid probe replacement in a fraction of the time required with conventional push-fit pneumatic probes.
A choice of three popular head styles is available to cover most applications.
The probe operates from a 6bar air supply, and has a working travel of 6mm and a full travel of 10mm.
Peak Test Services can also supply all the associated pneumatic valves, fittings, pipes and other accessories required.
