Threaded probes answer automotive test demands

The new P940/G Series from Peak Test Services is a family of threaded probes specifically designed to meet customer requirements in the automotive and cable-harness test environments: areas where threaded probes have almost entirely replaced standard push-in probes.

The P940/G is a very short robust probe, available in the same diameters as Peak's successful P60/G series but offering a greatly reduced overall length of approximately 15mm and a travel of 2.8mm (compared with 28mm and 4.5mm, respectively, for the earlier versions.

These probes are now available from stock, in addition to the standard nonthreaded P940 probes which are popular as battery contacts in the automotive industry.
