Wall mount cabinets boost network reliability

A Panduit product story

PanZone wall mount cabinets are used as mini-telecommunications rooms to mount active equipment and to provide secure and accessible network connections.

Panduit has designed its new line of PanZone wall mount cabinets and accessories for greater network reliability.

PanZone wall mount cabinets are used as mini-telecommunications rooms to mount active equipment and to provide secure and accessible network connections.

The design of PanZone wall mount cabinets was structurally engineered to deliver maximum strength and minimum deflection, resulting in a verified working load rating of 113kg.

This allows the cabinet to swing freely under maximum load so it is easy to open, close and lock.

Optional horizontal slack managers allow users to standardise on patch cord lengths, which improve cable routing and management for easy installation.

They also provide the ability to make front accessible moves, adds and changes quickly and easily, while keeping patch cords from blocking vertical pathways.

Through the use of computational fluid dynamics and computer modelling software, airflow has been optimised through the cabinet to improve thermal management.

Heat dissipation is further improved for high wattage equipment, including power over Ethernet (PoE) and uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), with the addition of optional fan kits.

Optional grounding kit allows the PanZone wall mount cabinet to comply with TIA/EIA grounding and bonding specifications.

Panduit offers the most complete zone cabling system available in the industry, and PanZone wall mount cabinets are integral to that solution.
