As part of its expansion process Papst has strengthened its sales team with the addition of two field sales engineers.

The company views the signings as key to its strategic plans to maintain a strong position in the market place and increase its sales and service levels.

Bringing a wealth of experience to the Account Manager South position is Phil Ball who was previously area manager with the components division of Siemens.

Ball will be providing technical and commercial support to existing Papst clients, and developing new accounts in the area.

Ball hails from Sherborne in Dorset.

Operating out of Motherwell in Scotland is Account Manager Scotland Craig Burns, who has a degree in business studies and worked previously with Panasonic as account manager handling blue chip accounts for sales of electromechanical and passive components.

Burns will be working closely with clients throughout the Scottish region as well as working on business development.

Commenting on the appointments Papst's Managing Director Gareth Jones said, "At Papst we always try to recruit people who will add value to both our business and our customers.

Phil and Craig both have a wealth of industry specific experience in electromechanical sales and their profiles match nicely with our plans to expand into other markets as well as consolidate our position in our core areas of business".
