The latest switch mode rectifier and control and supervisory units from PB Design are high efficiency systems for demanding applications.

The latest switch mode rectifier and control and supervisory units from PB Design are high efficiency systems.

Rated at 24, 48 and 110V in 250, 600, 2400 and 4800W modules they are ideal for the most demanding applications.

Multiple rectifiers can be configured into a single unit with multiple slots and controlled by a supervisory unit (CSU).

The system can be monitored and controlled remotely through a modem using WinCSU software.

The control features active current sharing, accurate battery voltage regulation, battery recharging current limit control, automatic battery equalisation and battery temperature compensation.

Key features are its innovative AC input with wide range input, power factor of better than 0.99 (meets IEC555-2), high efficiency of over 90% typical, active or passive load sharing, hot pluggable, exceptional power density and low noise.

Systems are available as stand-alone modules, 19in rack format for incorporation into existing cabinets or as a complete power rack solution.

The complete power rack solution incorporates the microprocessor-based control unit, supervisory unit (CSU) and slots for the rectifiers.

Additional options are AC/DC distribution modules, low voltage disconnect switches, and battery switches.

The DC power system is easy to configure and provides state-of-the-art performance.

The design features enable systems to easily and cost effectively meet customers' detailed specifications for applications such as telecomms, marine, industrial controls etc.
