COTS systems target government projects

New subsidiary company to deliver high performance middleware products and services to US Government agencies and high-end commercial markets.

PrismTech has set up a new subsidiary company to deliver high performance middleware products and services that meet the numerous agency requirements of the United States Government in and around secured environments.

PrismTech Solutions Americas will also serve high-end commercial markets.

In this effort, PrismTech Solutions Americas works directly with the agencies or partners with other prime contractors to provide solutions that enhance the performance of mission-critical distributed computing environments and communication systems such as those based on computer middleware and software defined radio technologies.

In addition, these solutions successfully address Infosec, demanding military performance requirements, commercial software/middleware and information assurance standards, software defined radio standards, source code origin, documentation and management, and the control of classified information.

In addition to the defence sector, PrismTech Solutions Americas also provides high performance middleware solutions and professional services for commercial telecom, aerospace and homeland security markets.

Prior to being named President, Baumgarten served as Vice President, Professional Services North America, PrismTech Corporation.

He has more than 20 years of executive and strategic leadership experience.

The company also recently added two new board members.

Colonel (Ret) Steve MacLaird, USAF, former programme director of the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Joint Program Office (JPO) and founder of Highland Consulting Group, and William C Lohnes, founder of William C Lohnes and Associates, and a former executive with the National Security Agency.
