Pickering Interfaces has a new range of high-performance PXI mainframes Designated the 40-900 series, these PXI chassis are available featuring an industry-standard eight-slot (40-908) or 14-slot (40-914) PXI/cPCI backplane integrated into a 3U card cage with dual hot swappable power supplies, that include supply voltage and fault monitoring via front panel LEDs

Range contains eight modules configured as fault insertion, SPST relay, multiplexer and matrix switches at 10A/200V and 30A/40V.
Incorporating all the features defined by the PXI and CompactPCI specifications PCIMG 2.0, R2.1, each unit supports one CPU/interface module and up to seven (40-908) or 13 (40-414) PXI/cPCI peripheral cards.
The rear of the card cage is enclosed to provide backplane EMI shielding.
Three 55ft3/min fans, totalling 284ft3/min (40-408) and four 56ft3/min fans, totalling 284ft3/min (40-414) ensure maximum cooling with minimum noise.
Quick filter media and fan maintenance is assured via a removable fan tray.
