Integrated PXI matrix claims world's first
Pickering Interfaces has a range of BRIC second-generation PXI multislot matrix modules.
All have single-pole single-throw (SPST) configurations with 6ms operating and 3ms release times.
Connections are made via front panel mounted 37- or 78-pin D-Type connectors.
Each 40-137 module is fitted with electromechanical power relays, having gold clad silver alloy contacts.
A spare relay is built onto every circuit board to facilitate easy maintenance with minimum downtime.
All PXI cards are supplied with complete Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP and comply with the PXI Specification 2.0 (issued Aug 2000).
Local bus, interrupts, trigger bus and star trigger are not implemented.
VISA/M and supplied soft front panels and driver software are fully Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP compatible.
Typical applications will be found in automotive, aerospace and power cell testing.
