High-current PXI switches use solid-state relays
Range contains eight modules configured as fault insertion, SPST relay, multiplexer and matrix switches at 10A/200V and 30A/40V.
Switching module handles high current and voltage
PXI power relay module provides 24 SPST switches each capable of switching currents up to 4A and hot switching voltages up to 250V AC.
The 40-295 and 40-296 provide robust solutions to simulating these devices in compliance and manufacturing test.
Applications include automotive and aerospace testing.
The new modules are offering the highest density of programmable resistors available from any PXI manufacturer.
The module is available in a wide variety of different standard formats to suit customer applications.
Special configurations can also be ordered.
Each 40-296 module can support up to eighteen 8bit adjustable resistor channels and occupies just one slot of a 3U PXI chassis.
Alternative resolutions of 12, 16 and 24bit can be supplied, the 40-295 permitting up to six 24bit channels.
The 40-296 is configured as a programmable potentiometer, providing up to nine 8bit potentiometer channels or three 24bit potentiometer channels.
Key product features include: configurable as 8, 12 16 or 24bit channels; available as programmable resistors or potentiometers; robust design based on instrument grade reed relays; 0.5A switch current, 0.5W resistor power rating; excellent accuracy; and fast operation and long service life.
The products are complimentary to the lower density 40-290 resistor modules previously available from Pickering Interfaces.
