Sykes takes over at picoChip

He takes up the post after three years at LogicVision, where he was vice president of marketing and business development, and most recently vice president of systems business.
Prior to LogicVision, Dr Sykes held various strategic and business unit directors roles in Philips Semiconductors in Sunnyvale CA, including leading the Paradise Multimedia activity.
Before moving to California, he spent 13 years at Texas Instruments where he held a variety of senior technical and marketing roles in the ASIC business units in the UK and North America.
"This appointment marks the end of an extensive international search for an executive with exceptional engineering and industry knowledge in the technologies and market sectors that we will serve.
Rodger is a seasoned campaigner and joins us at a most exciting point in the company's development as we begin to initiate our first major product launch", added Peter Claydon, picoChip founder and COO.
