The Saber kit is an economical solution to explore and qualify a variety of available lead-free finishes.

The Saber kit is an economical solution to explore and qualify a variety of available lead-free finishes.

The boards consist of basic SMT technology and are now available with lead-free finishes as a complete kit with the lead-free dummy components needed to populate one side.

The Saber board is available in a variety of lead-free finishes including immersion silver, OSP and ENIG (immersion tin).

The board material is FR4 (Tg+170-220C).

The board contains land patterns for basic SMT components including chip resistors, PLCCs, SOICs, TSOPs, SOTs, QFPs and BGAs.

Saber kits are available in quantities of 24, 48 and 96.

Gerber and x, y, theta data and digitised files provided by Aegis Software are included on request at no charge.

Sn/Pb kits are also available as a comparison to these lead-free kits if required.

Lead-free finish data are also available on each component package and Practical Components can also supply factory reliability reports.
