The PC003 hand solder practice kit is a low cost and effective kit for training and testing employees in lead-free assembly and rework as well as process evaluation.

The PCB003 kit has a double-sided PC board that has pads for 13 different components: one through-hole DIP14 and 12 surface-mount components.

Each kit is boxed with the lead-free components individually bagged and tagged for easy identification.

Kits consist of PLCCs, SOICs, TSSOPs, SOTs, passives and QFPs with 0.5 and 0.65mm pitch.

This low-cost kit is ideal for classroom training and practice, solder alloy selection, solder paste evaluation, wave solder flux evaluation, process optimisation and reliability, equipment quality testing and inspection and test training.

The kit is IPC-A-610 compliant.

On request the board comes with demonstration versions of CircuitCAM and CheckPoint manufacturing software, ready-to-run CircuitCAM project files (CPFs) and Gerber and x, y theta data at no extra charge Practical dummy components are exact mechanical equivalents of live components used when only the physical properties of the components are required.

These components can cost as much as 80% less than live components making the ideal for testing of solder processes, machine setup and other process evaluations.
