Premier EDA Solutions has revealed detail of its forthcoming annual conference The event, to be held near Bracknell, on 6th and 7th September, promises to be a tremendous opportunity for furthering the knowledge of designers of modern electronic equipment

Day one is a customer conference concentrating on Altium's EDA software portfolio.

The agenda comprises a series of corporate briefings, product-specific workshops and customer presentations.

Associated with the conference is a design innovation challenge, where customers will present their innovative applications of our software.

The day culminates with an awards dinner, where the best customer presentations will be recognised and a series of prises awarded.

Day two is an IPC designers learning symposium, which will provide a platform for engineers and designers to further their knowledge of key industry trends and technologies.

The multifaceted agenda comprises over a dozen industry speakers from around the world and covers subjects from WEEE and RoHS, to embedded passives, to EMC and design for test.

Premier has been able to put together the symposium with help from event sponsors - Polar Instruments, Flomerics and the IPC Designers Council.

"It is always a pleasure to work with like-minded organisations and all of our DLS sponsors have a similar outlook to us at Premier", says Phil Mayo MD of Premier.

Backed by a small tabletop exhibition, the event is a must for all product design professionals.

"We've put together an exceptional event with literally something for everyone", says Mayo: "With the industry still suffering from lack of direction, at least we can provide an opportunity for engineers and designers to improve their skills and network with other like-minded design professionals".

Entry to the customer conference is free for Altium software users.

Entry to the IPC designers learning symposium is open for any design professional and costs GBP 175.
