Penny + Giles has added to its range the JC6000 robust multi-axis joysticks designed for demanding operator control applications.
Compact size from rocker switch design
The new JC025 and JC030 single axis fingertip rockers from Penny and Giles Controls allow system designers to provide control of movement and speed in a single low-profile unit.
The JC120's 26.5mm width makes it even more compact than the JC100, enabling five units to be mounted side-by-side in the same space as four JC100s.
This is a significant advantage for radio remote control applications such as chestpacks, which will be able to control more functions in the same space.
Two lever heights are available.
The long-lever version is 63.75mm above the panel and the short-lever version only 54mm above the panel.
The JC120 is ergonomically designed for smooth, precise finger control making it ideal for repeated operations over long periods.
It also features excellent proportional control, stable output, low noise and long life and is designed for applications including cranes and hoists, robotics, remote cameras, medical equipment and radio control.
The pivoting lever design provides one axis of forward and reverse movement and a spring-return to centre.
The body features fully moulded construction with an IP66 rating when mounted using a sealing gasket.
Electrical connections are via a 7-pin Molex 70553 series latching male connector on the joystick base.
A mating Molex 70066 series female connector with 0.5m flylead assembly is an optional extra.
Electrical outputs are identical to those of the JC100. Request a free brochure from Penny + Giles ...
