Flywheel-based energy storage moves ahead
Second-generation VSS+DC flywheel-based clean energy storage systems have passed all tests and are ready to ship.
This new model delivers more than 50% greater power than the company's original VSSDC model that it has sold for the last 3 years.
Even with this large improvement in performance, the new VSS+DC model is sold at the same price and has the same compact dimensions and low weight as the original product.
"This 100-unit milestone is a new height in sales for Pentadyne, and a clear confirmation that our new product is striking a strong chord in the marketplace", said Pentadyne President and CEO Mark McGough.
"At this pace, with this well-valued product and with our strong OEM relationships with Emerson Network Power/Liebert and with Socomec Sicon, we are positioning ourselves to become the leader in delivering clean energy storage flywheels".
